Bryant is an experienced development advocate and has represented clients before planning commissions and governing bodies throughout the states of Kansas and Missouri.  A former city attorney/assistant city attorney for several cities throughout the State of Kansas, Bryant is able to “speak City” and provide private clients with insights into local government processes and procedures.  His knowledge of the local, state and federal (wetlands/US Army Corps of Engineers) permitting and plan approval requirements, as well as timelines for various types of projects, empowers him to provide clients with real-time advice that keeps projects on track and within budget.  Bryant is passionate about empowering clients to achieve their business objectives in the quickest and most cost-efficient manner possible.

  • Obtained approval from the Planned Industrial Expansion Authority of Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Missouri City Council of 25-year tax abatements that made possible a $20,000,000+ redevelopment of the former Ambassador Office Building within the Air World Corporate Center as a Hilton Garden Inn and future additional hotel near Kansas City International Airport.
  • Successful adaptive reuse of former Gander Mountain retail complex as office space for the expansion of a nationwide shipping logistics firm in Wichita, Kansas, employing an additional 500+ workers. Included gaining approval from the Wichita City Council of assignment of sophisticated building on leased ground ownership rights to purchasing firm and clarification of sales tax responsibilities relating to public incentive package that originally supported the development.
