Ann P. Ryan
Ann’s transactional practice encompasses the areas of real estate, business, franchise and employment law.
Ann has extensive practice in commercial real estate sales, leasing and development. She has negotiated lease transactions for retail, restaurant, industrial and other commercial properties located throughout the United States on behalf of nationally-known retailers, restaurants, shopping center developers/operators and other business clients. In addition to her leasing focus, Ann represents both buyers and sellers of commercial and residential properties throughout the United States, negotiating purchase and sale agreements and guiding clients through the closing process. She also assists business owners in forming new companies, addressing operational issues and employment matters such as confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, employee handbooks and employment disputes. Ann has also provided in-house training for clients in the areas of preventative workplace harassment and discrimination and has coached national groups of franchisors and franchisees through lease negotiation best practices.

Ann is married to Stephen Ryan and they are parents of twins, Noah and Cecilia. The Ryan family enjoys international and domestic travel, skiing, golf and reading. They are active members at Church of the Resurrection. Ann volunteers with the Church’s Bookmobile and has helped distribute over 60,000 books to children at partner schools during the last year. She and her dog, Poppy, provide companionship and comfort at area assisted living facilities each week. Ann is also active in P.E.O., a philanthropic organization supporting women pursuing all levels of higher education.
